Operation Catch Them Young

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Operation Catch Them Young collects, uses, protects, and shares information across its nonprofit website, programs, and current projects, including CulturalStream and Medical Library education initiatives.

Medical and health-related notice: OCTY public website content and Medical Library content are for knowledge and education only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or emergency services.

1. Who We Are

Operation Catch Them Young (OCTY) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt public service organization supporting education, medical education, youth and family support, technology training, community programs, and responsible innovation projects including CulturalStream, PrimeHealth/Medical Library, comprehensive health technology planning, cybersecurity education, and digital transformation initiatives.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to operationcatchthemyoung.org, OCTY public websites, contact forms, donation inquiries, project pages, program inquiries, CulturalStream prototype pages, PrimeHealth/Medical Library educational pages, and related online services controlled by OCTY. It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party platforms, including Google, YouTube, payment processors, email providers, hosting providers, embedded content providers, or partner organizations.

3. Information We May Collect

We may collect contact information, organization information, donation or equipment inquiry information, volunteer or partner inquiry details, program interest information, website usage data, technical logs, security logs, and information voluntarily submitted through forms or email. For youth, family, autism, education, medical education, or community programs, we collect only what is reasonably necessary for communication, eligibility review, program coordination, safety, compliance, and recordkeeping.

4. Sensitive Information and Health-Related Information

OCTY does not ask users to submit protected health information, medical records, lab results, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information through ordinary public website forms unless a secure feature is clearly identified for that purpose. PrimeHealth/Medical Library content is for general knowledge and education only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or a replacement for licensed clinicians. If future secure health-document, medical-library, EHR, or care-record features are launched, OCTY will use separate access controls, consent language, privacy notices, security controls, and compliance review before accepting sensitive submissions.

5. Children and Youth

OCTY serves youth and families, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through public website forms without appropriate parent, guardian, school, organization, or legally authorized consent. If child information is submitted without proper authorization, contact us so we can review and delete or correct it where appropriate.

6. How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, coordinate programs, evaluate donations and equipment support, communicate with partners, improve services, protect website security, prepare grant or partnership materials, support educational initiatives, document program activity, and operate or improve OCTY projects. We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand community needs, program demand, content gaps, and project performance.

7. YouTube, CulturalStream, and Third-Party Public Data

CulturalStream may use the YouTube Data API Services and other lawful public metadata sources to organize publicly available content by title, source channel, thumbnail, category, language, country, duration, publication date, view-related public metrics, and other public metadata. CulturalStream is designed to preserve source attribution, link users back to YouTube/source channels, and support discovery, creator attribution, duplicate/repost risk review, and suspicious engagement-risk analysis. OCTY does not use CulturalStream to create fake views, fake viewers, artificial likes, artificial comments, artificial watch time, or artificial traffic. If YouTube user authorization features are added later, OCTY will implement OAuth consent, limited scopes, revocation options, and additional privacy disclosures before launch.

8. Medical Library and Health Education

PrimeHealth/Medical Library content is for knowledge and educational purposes only. Copying, reading, sharing, or using content from the Medical Library does not create a physician-patient relationship, clinician-patient relationship, diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, or emergency medical service. Users should consult qualified licensed professionals for medical concerns and seek emergency care for urgent symptoms.

9. Comprehensive EHR, Health Technology, and Security Projects

OCTY may describe or develop health technology, EHR planning, security education, and digital safety projects. Public project pages are informational unless and until a specific secure service is launched under written terms, privacy notices, access controls, and required compliance review. Security education is for authorized, lawful, protective use only and must not be used for unauthorized access, hacking, abuse, harassment, or circumvention of security controls.

10. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, hosting providers, email providers, payment processors, professional advisors, partner organizations, volunteers or contractors working under OCTY direction, and authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent abuse. We may share limited information with partners when needed to respond to your request, coordinate programs, or evaluate donations or services.

11. Donations, Equipment, and Third-Party Processors

Donation, payment, shipping, equipment review, and technology-support activities may involve third-party processors or partners. OCTY may collect information needed to evaluate donation suitability, safety, legal restrictions, logistics, community need, and program fit. Sensitive, regulated, medical, electronic, or technology donations may require human review before acceptance.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and project stage. No website or internet transmission is guaranteed fully secure. Users should not submit highly sensitive information through general contact forms or email unless OCTY has specifically provided a secure process.

13. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for communication, program administration, legal compliance, security, audit, donor relations, partnership review, and nonprofit records. We may retain de-identified, aggregated, or project documentation for planning and reporting.

14. Your Choices

You may contact OCTY to request correction, deletion, or review of information you previously submitted, subject to legal, security, program, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements. You may also stop using optional features or decline to provide non-required information.

15. External Links and Embedded Content

Our website may link to YouTube, Google, educational resources, partner websites, payment processors, or other external platforms. OCTY is not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Users should review the privacy policies and terms of those third parties.
